Who We Are

PAWsitive is a small, family-owned business based in Burbank, California. I am the founder and also the mother of two daughters, Ella and Samila, one black Labrador, six chickens, and a revolving door of foster kittens.  I was formerly a television producer making shows for Discovery, Animal Planet, E!, Style and FOX.

I first started PAWsitive as a YouTube channel in 2015.  The channel is about inspirational, animal rescue stories from around the world.  I sought to promote animal rescuers and fosters for their tireless work of saving animals and to educate the public about responsible pet ownership.  After conducting hundreds of interviews, what I learned is that people who share a passion for animals are also naturally environmental conservationists too.  Like me!  After over a decade in the entertainment business, I wanted to explore my passion for animals and the environment with hopes to change the world one poop at a time.

The PAWsitive brand and PAWsitive products were created with animals in mind from beginning to end.  We make pet products that are made from renewable resources that won't stay in our landfills or in our oceans.  Our products are made to be certified compostable returning to the earth in a matter of months rather than years or hundreds of years like a regular plastic bag.  PAWsitive products are meant to last as long as we need them to without harming animals or the environment they live in.
